Reasons to be Thankful

Every year around this time, we take a moment to consider things or people for which/whom we are thankful. After a motivating initial team meeting last weekend, I want to share some of what I am thankful for this year as we take on the walk.

 1. The 6 of us who came for the first team meeting/brainstorming session. These people are joining our team, returning to the team, or intend on being there for us through this 10-month journey and at the event. Jill, Kate, Beth, Roberta (Mom), and Aunt Marylen - aka Hot MesseS (Becky & Rachel will be joining us too, but could not make the meeting)

 2. We met early and we're getting the ball rolling early! McKenna time, we will defeat you!

 3. The research that has been done by the National MS Society continues to keep my sister and others in better health. Groundbreaking research, trials, and medicines have come to the forefront since our involvement, and I look forward to their continued work!

 4. Major improvements have been made to the fundraising sites and apps which will make our tasks 1000 times easier. I am thankful for these new formats.

 5. My donors and support teams near and far - Every dollar you donate and every time you ask about our training or progress is just further motivation to push me and our team across the finish line.

 Thank you!
